What is the Aeturnus Continuum™?

The Aeturnus Continuum™ is a fictional universe which contains the stories developed by Occulan Studios. The Aeturnus Continuum is contained in a single galaxy (the Bell Quadrant). It spans from a primordial age (the Age of Gods) to an age far in the future (the Age of Conflict). Who runs Occulan Studios?

Occulan Studios was founded by American illustrator and concept artist J.L.Lockwood in 2024. He currently runs the website, directs projects, writes, edits and handles all visuals. The hope is to grow Occulan Studios into a team of dedicated artists — passionate in their vision and ceaseless in their desire to be pioneers in the creative arts.

What Projects has Occulan Studios worked on?

The main focus of the studio is developing projects centered around its own I.P. Though many are on the shelf due to time and resource constraints, there is a release schedule based on current goals. The plan is to start with worldbuilding and storytelling as our foundation, with plans for book serials, comics, video games, merchandise and animation. Will there be physical Products or just digital?

The plan is for the majority of Occulan Studios’ products to be physical — whether it be merchandise, printed books, figurines, comic books, etc. Products will also be available digitally wherever possible with plans to distribute via popular digital platforms (kindle, pdf, soundcloud, etc.)

What genre of fiction is the Aeturnus Continuum?

The Aeturnus Continuum merges and serializes many different genres within a single unified fictional universe. The foundation of the Aeturnus Continuum is most accurately described as science fiction, fantasy, and horror, but storylines can mix depending on the timeline, tone, and location.

Does Occulan Studios use AI?

Occulan Studios has used AI for ad mockups, prototyping and proofreading. No final production work will contain AI. This includes storylines, written word, art, voice and music. We believe the future of art will be led by human voices and expression.
