The Occulan Archives dives deeper into the artifacts, histories, and recovered writings from across the Aeturnus Continuum. This entry, drawn from “The Last War of Artriu” explores the Feyyan Beast Tamers of planet Artriu during the Age of Ancients.
Fig 1. Feyyan Gol’Thogg summoning a Torva Beast
“And then I saw the Feyyan Gol’thogg priest raise his arms — his chants, a droning vibration; suddenly, within the spoutway I heard a rumble echoing from within. As it continued, the priest’s staff of charms and bonework rattled a song, and a scattering of floral scents began to burst forth from the ground surrounding the black stone platform on which he stood. And from there a twisting claw-like bramble surrounded him.
As I queried the thread-world with the intent of understanding; a thick darkness enshrouded the invokation. And though my concentration was pure, this infernal twisting of Echoric song was foreign to my understanding.
The low roar signaled ever closer, and then it emerged in all of its grandeur.
The Torva Beast.
The sight — awesome to behold, overwhelmed me. The eater of the underworld, the burrowing beast-God; through the hot moist air and the crackling burn of the deepen, its great segmented form hovered still, awaiting command by the priest who strained at its sight.
It was then that I knew, the Feyyans of Rinnaglio had found something forbidden — a power older than the world, now turned against the hand of its own creation.”

Fig 2. Feyyans of Rinnaglio
The Feyyan are a fierce and proud race originating from the Shelflands of Rinnaglio, descended from the predatory Feyya beasts that once stalked the north of Artriu. Known for their sharp, animalistic features and agile, powerful builds, the Feyyan possess keen senses and a dominant nature. This deep bond with the ways of their former kin make them exceptional warriors, perfectly adapted to the violent nature of their homeland. The Feyyan culture is steeped in tradition and the worshiping of their Gods, with a strong emphasis on strength, honor, and glory in battle.
The Gol’Thogg — A priest-worker of the Feyyan, who manipulates beasts using a mysterious force native to the planet; using ritual invokation and tools of their own making, they meticulously coax their quarry to service, using circles of dominion to draw them in.

Vibrations grow ominous within the thread-world of Artriu. A darkness clouds the Echoria, obscuring its intentions within an impenetrable shroud of silence. The land of the Feyyan stirs with revived Gods, a re-constructed capital and signs of a new potent force — skills traditionally attributed to the Cana of Kyle. Though none know when this new-found interest emerged; it is sure that an ancient evil has taken form once again and lives through the Feyyan folk of Rinnaglio.
And now, the Northern folk march as they did in the elder days and their banners rise to a new leader — a face yet unseen; a dark influence with the power to animate the resurgence of Northrin’s warriors. They cry out in strength as they push formations further from the shelflands and into surrounding tribe-lands.
Even worse, none have an explanation; the Sages remain silent and the Kings give no orders. Yet the North continues to test the fractured tranquility of Artriu — they aim for no such thing as peace.

Therik’s Warning
“I say to you — The darkness of the Feyyan knows no limit. Burrowed deep within the soils of the North, they wield a force not of their own making. A violation among the thread-worlds — and in concert, they work as one.”
- Therik of Kyle
